The Internet Society Uganda Chapter in partnership with TechSoup Africa and Microsoft will host a half day awareness workshop on developing a modern NGO scheduled to take place on June 15, 2017 at 8.00am – 1:00pm at Hotel Triangle, Kampala.
This workshop aims at bringing together over 200 managers from the Non- Profit Sector and Monitoring and Impact Assessment practitioners from the sector to come together and explore as well as share their experience in using ICT in improving their efficiency as well as making critical decisions in as far as their mandates are concerned.
The convening will also bring together critical ICT service providers to showcase some of the products that the Non Profit Sector can utilise in their operations while offering them at highly discounted prices.
Microsoft is offering the following products to Ugandan NGOs for free or at non-profit discount: Office 365, Azure, Power BI, Enterprise Mobility and Dynamics CRM.
In Uganda, TechSoup software donation programme is now available for Non-Profit organizations (Libraries, NGOs, International NGOs, Faith Based Organizations, Trusts and Societies) and it includes software from the following technology companies: Microsoft, Bitdefender, Box and Tableau.
During this event, participants will learn about the eligibility criteria for non-profits and demonstrate how they can apply. Read more
