Joshua MpairwePresident
Joshua Mpairwe is a software engineer with 10 years of experience in developing and maintaining online web based software/systems. He is the Director and Co-Founder of Centric Solutions (U) Limited – an ICT based company incorporated in 2013 and specialising in Software production, networking and IT Equipment supplies.
His background enables him understand the intricate concerns of Users’ of the internet and the technical working of the internet developers. In addition, as a Consultant, Joshua has developed several government systems which has equipped him with the necessary skills and knowledge required to interest government in supporting and protecting internet users.
Joshua holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Makerere University (2009) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Institute of Management (2015).
He is an individual member of Internet Society with Membership Identification: 78293. His has been a member of the Internet Society Uganda Chapter since its inception, where he participated in its official registration as a Non-for Profit legal entity in Uganda. He has also served as an advisor on several passed Administrations of the Chapter including contributions to the Chapter Policies as well as policy reviews done by the chapter such as Draft Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2014.
