She joined the Internet society in 2017 as a member and later on appointed as one of the project’s committee members. Before joining the chapter, She was a member of Afchix Uganda, an organisation that supports and works with girls/women in computing to increase the pipeline of girls in ICT. It’s through the different Afchix activities that she was later exposed to ISOC’s work and mission.

She is a Masters’ student of science in ICT policy, management and architectural design at Uganda martyrs’ university. She holds a bachelors’ degree in Computer science from Makerere University.

Under the projects’ committee of ISOC Uganda and she has been involved in various projects like the YARID project, Uganda IGF, different chapter dialogues, workshops and trainings like the 2020-chapter training program and the IGF youth ambassadors’ program. The chapter has given her a chance to serve and has equally empowered her with knowledge and essential skill in community development.

In 2019 the youthcom workshop organised by ISOC and ICANN created a platform for her to know ICANN, its work and mission. That same year she became an ICANN fellow and have been ever since. She is now a member of the at-large community and apart of the different working groups with in the Afralo. She is currently working on a universal acceptance proposal in collaboration with all the East African fellows that represented the region during ICANN75.

She is deeply passionate about ICT community development and Policy development.
