The Internet Society Uganda Chapter in partnership with Milima Technologies Uganda and other stakeholders are organisation a Cyber Security awareness workshop under the theme “Social Engineering 020 Building a Cyber Smart Uganda.”
The Human error accounts for over 85% of the security threats in organisations, contrary to the belief of poor IT systems or network infrastructure.
Through social engineering techniques such as email phishing, unsuspecting employees of an organisation can be targeted and used by the hackers to gain access to critical components of a network thereby compromising the whole organisation.
